ON MANUFACTURING:
I’ve always worked directly with the sample makers of the products I design. I find that this stage is the most vital to learning as a creative, heading off potential problems/costing issues and getting the details just right. The added benefit is that you end up creating relationships with some of the best product builders in the world. I’ll never take that for granted.
